About us

We do four things. We put sports talk on the radio. We run a news desk that writes about the games and the people who play them. We publish a weekly card of leans on NFL and college football games, with a ledger that shows how every one of them turned out. And we sell our stories to other stations and networks through a wire.

The tagline is "No Lectures. Just Sports." It means what it says. A lot of sports media now comes with somebody's opinion about the country attached. We are not interested in that. If you want to know who won, who got hurt, where the line moved and what to watch on Saturday, that is what we are here for.

The network's stations are in Virginia, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia. Our shows are Game on America on weeknights, Godzilla Wins and The Mountaineer Tailgate on Saturdays, Godzilla Wins Daily on Thursdays, and Past the Wire for horse racing. None of our shows use AI. Nothing you hear on Game on America, Godzilla Wins, The Mountaineer Tailgate, Past the Wire or any other JFMN program is written, voiced or produced with it. Nothing published by WV Sports Nation at wvsportsnation.com is either. Those are people, start to finish.
